A well aged single malt from the Royal Brackla distillery that has been finished in Palo Cortado casks.

Palo Cortado is an interesting choice from Brackla, as it is a drier style of sherry, and sweet to medium styles such as Oloroso or PX are usually used by distillers.

The result is a delicious, citrussy and slightly savoury single malt whisky, featuring notes of grapefruit, lemon juice, honey, earthy nuts, thick malt, vanilla, apricots, and some warming cinnamon and cloves.

Bottled at 46% ABV and without chill filtration, this is a well made dram.
