A nicely aged dram from the Brackla distillery, produced by Gordon and MacPhail indie bottlers.

This whisky was distilled in 2006, and matured in a single refill American hogshead. The spirit was eventually bottled in November 2020, with a final age of 14.

This dram offers up notes of spiced orchard fruits, sugared lemon rind, fresh grassy malt, rich honey, polished oak, beeswax and cornbread.

Bottled at a hefty 59.%, and without chill filtration or colouration, this is a punchy, satisfying dram.
