This beautifully presented rum is made with “virgin sugar cane honey”, and aged at cooler, high altitudes, allowing for longer maturation than most tropical rums. Ron Zacapa uses a solera system containing spirit between 6 and 25 years old, before finishing their rum in Cognac casks for an extra complexity.
