A top quality Dominican rum selected by the Oliver and Oliver importers.

This somewhat heavy dark rum has been aged in a solera system whereby 15% of the younger barrel is placed into older barrels before bottling. Oliver and Oliver state that the age of this rum is over 15 years.

The rum was distilled in pot still and aged in former Bourbon American oak casks.

A delightful spirit that holds its age wonderfully well, drinkers should expect notes of bergamot, toffee, overripe bananas, pineapples, vanilla, oak, chocolate and barrel char, with a little cinnamon spice.

The rum is beautifully presented in a boldly designed, heavy bottomed bottle.
