A wonderful blended Caribbean rum, produced by the Anguilla Rums company. The striking bottle is based on the design used by seafaring captains and pirates, with the squat bottle and wide base an attempt to prevent the bottle from tipping over during rough voyages. Much of the rum used in this blend is as old as 15 years, whilst all the constituent rums have been aged in French Limousin oak and American oak barrels. The result is a delicious, fruit-heavy rum which hits the drinker with wave after wave of tropical and citrus fruit. The finish is molasses heavy, with Angostura style spices. A real sweet treat.
