A rare treat from the famous vermouth-makers, Martini.
This bottling was a one-off release to celebrate the brand’s 150th anniversary.
The vermouth takes its name from the Italian for ‘grand luxury’, fitting for a bottling made with high quality Barbera red wine and Trebbiano white wine, cask aged extract of Moscato, alongside the secretive “extract 94”. This delightful blend is then aged for no less than 8 years in a demijohn specially designed for the release.
This bottling serves up all the classic herbaceous aromatics of Martini, with added depth, oaky complexity and silky mouthfeel.
An ingredient that would elevate any cocktail, this is also pretty delicious served over ice with a slice of orange.
Just 150,000 bottles of this release were available worldwide.
