The name Stjärnrök, which translates as ‘star smoke’, is a reference to the smoky quality that this whisky possesses. This smoky profile is balanced by maturation in Oloroso Sherry, ex-Bourbon and American oak casks, alongside a portion of whisky that previously held native cloudberry wine.

The result is a complex dram with notes of smoked fruits, earthy spice, juniper, toasted bread, oak, dark chocolate, ginger, peat smoke, strawberry jam and subtle vanilla.

Bottled at 46.1% ABV, this dram has a good body and depth.
