A very smart bottling of cult distillery Longmorn from peerless indie bottlers, Gordon and MacPhail.

Longmorn is a distillery high regarded for producing a warming, weighty spirit, beloved by blenders and whisky drinkers alike.

This whisky is a 2002 vintage, bottled in 2016 at an age of about 14 years. The palate suggests this dram was aged at least partly in sherry casks.

This bottling forms part of the illustrious Distillery Labels series, as shown by its handsome packaging – complete with bold crest and lettering.

Drinkers can expect notes of butterscotch, vanilla and milk chocolate, leading into rich spices, sweet sherry, dried fruit, citrus peel and orchard fruits.

A slight lift in ABV to 43% boosts the body and flavours of the dram, which is bottled without artificial colouring.

Another superb G&M bottling in what must be one of the finest indie series on the market.
