An extraordinary bottling of Linkwood from Gordon and MacPhail’s luxurious Private Collection series.

This whisky was distilled at the cult distillery in 1983, and aged in a single refill American hogshead (cask number 6130) until the 7th of June 2019.

The result is a sumptuous and decadent whisky with notes of dense vanilla oak, buttery corn, sawdust, toffee’d malt, marmalade, citrus rind, milk chocolate, cedarwood, creamy honey, apples, pears, some slightly muscular leather, slight dried fruit, lemon, gentle cinnamon and nutmeg.

This Linkwood is presented at a cask strength of 55.7% and without chill filtration or colouration.

Only 168 bottles were produced, each coming with their own handsome wooden presentation box.
