A truly superb Linkwood offering that forms part of Signatory Vintage’s highly esteemed Un-Chillfiltered range.

Linkwood has developed a reputation as something of a “cult malt” since its founding in 1821 and re-opening in 1990. The spirit is highly regarded by both blenders and connoisseurs, with plenty going into Diageo’s White horse and Johnnie Walker blends.

This beautiful bottling was matured for 18 years in two former Bourbon barrels, cask numbers 11786 and 11787. The spirit was first distilled on the 5th of November 1998 and bottled on the 11th of May 2017.

After a very respectable maturation period, this whisky has developed some delectable flavours of toffee, vanilla, chocolate, spice, citrus rind, warm barley, and orchard fruits. This dram is classic Speyside through and through.

The flavours are enhanced considerably by the fact this whisky is bottled at 46% ABV, and without either chill filtration or artificial colouration (as always with this bottling series).

Bottles of this whisky are highly limited in availability, with it being the product of just two casks. Each bottle comes with a distinctive silver Signatory tube.
