An interesting indie bottling of cult malt distillery, Linkwood.

Produced by Signatory for their Un-Chillfiltered range, this dram has been aged for 11 years in a pair of charred wine Hogshead casks.

The result is a deeply fruit and flavoursome whisky, with notes of strawberry, grenadine, raspberry, slight menthol, drying tannic oak, malt, a little barrel char, Port wine, dark chocolate and some light tobacco leaf.

Once again, Signatory have picked out a sure-fire winner.
