Leopold’s Small Batch Gin is an American gin, produced and bottled by the Leopold Bros. in Denver, Colorado. Botanicals such as juniper, pummelos, Valencia oranges, coriander, orris root, and others are distilled separately, which they believe yields a more “pure” result, which actually seems very reasonable by their logic. With each distillation only yielding about 300 bottles, it’s safe to say this is a true, small batch gin. It won a gold medal at the International Spirits Competition in 2013.
