A cracking dram from Tobermory distillery.
Ledaig is the name given to Tobermory’s peated spirit, and this bottling showcases the style, featuring a luxurious Pedro Ximénez cask finish.
This whisky is a 2007 vintage, having been aged for 12 years, producing a complex and powerfully flavoured dram.
The final result is rich, smoky dram, that delivers notes of thick, oily peat, barbequed plums, ash, dried fruits, burnt malt, sweet sherry, coffee, nuts, leather, vanilla, sea spray figs and dark oak.
The perfect combination of sherried sweetness, and Ledaig’s naturally oily, peaty spirit.
Bottled at a cask strength of 55.5% ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, this is an aggressively flavoursome whisky.
