A powerful cask strength whisky from Knockdhu distillery, bottled by The Ultimate Whisky Co.

Knockdhu distillery is best known for being the home of AnCnoc single malt whisky. This 2008 vintage was distilled on the 9th of June of that year, and bottled 12 years and one week later, on the 16th of June 2020.

The spirit had been matured in a Bourbon Hogshead, before spending its final 38 months finishing in a Sherry cask.

The final product is a refreshing, sherried dram with notes of toasted malt, almonds, oily walnuts, vanilla ice cream, clove studded oranges, drying oak, sultanas, baked apples and fresh pastry.

Bottled at a warming 57.4% ABV, this is a full bodied, intense drinking experience.

One for fans of AnCnoc to try. Just 690 bottles were produced.
