Speyside distillery is known for bottling its whiskies with a vintage, as shown by this 1998 18 year old. This bottling forms part of the distillery’s “slow matured” series.
Matured in sherry casks, the whisky was bottled in 2016. 18 years has given this dram a wonderful complexity and depth, whilst retaining the natural flavours of the spirit.
The whisky serves up flavours of dried fruit, baked apples, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, citrus rind, bright oak, toffee, almonds and walnuts.
