A single vintage Rhum Agricole from Martinique distillery, Habitation Saint Etienne (HSE).

Made with a “single parcel” of sugar cane, grown on a single plot of land, found at the entrance to HSE’s estate. The sugar cane was or the R570 variety.

This rum was distilled in 2016, and rested for 18 months.

The result is a classic Martinique Agricole, with notes of lime zest, peppery spice, flowers, lemon, grassy cane, pineapple, passionfruit, a little vanilla and fresh lime juice.

Bottled at 55% ABV, the rum has a rich, oily mouthfeel.
