Another superb gin to come out of the spirit’s spiritual homeland, Holland. This is a handcrafted Dutch gin produced in small batches. The gin is produced in a traditional pot still, using only natural botanicals. Prominent in the profile is the variety of rich, flavoursome citrus rind (orange and Jacmel peel particularly) used to give this gin its zesty quality. A bittersweet earthy core is provided by the classic gin botanicals of coriander, cinnamon, nutmeg and juniper. The gin is finished with water from the Oosterschelde, a stretch of sea south of Zierikzee, giving the spirit a wonderful salinity and coastal flavour, sharpening it considerably. Makes for a superbly intense, complex and drying gin and tonic. This gin picked up three different gold medals from the Spirits Business competitions since 2016. Definitely one for all gin fans to try.
