A big bottle of this interesting gin from famed producer, Hendrick’s.

Hendrick’s Amazonia was previously released for the travel retail market. This bottling takes Hendrick’s classic gin, known for its flavours of cucumber and rose petal, and introduces mysterious tropical botanicals from the Amazon rainforest.

The gin was inspired by the visit of Hendrick’s Master Distiller Lesley Gracie to the Venezuelan Amazon, with Gracie saying this was an “unique and inspiring experience, which motivated me to create Hendrick’s Amazonia”.

The result is a bright, exotic gin with notes of rose, fresh cucumber, candied pineapple, mango, subtle earthy spice, juniper and a little citrus.

Delicious served long with tonic, this could also have interesting applications in Tiki drinks.

For ever bottle purchased, the environmental charity One Tree Planted will plant a tree in the Venezuelan rainforest.
