A superb, small-lot Cognac bottled by the highly regarded Grosperrin House.

This spirit was made with grapes grown in the Bois Ordinaires cru – more specifically, grown on the island of Oléron. This island has a mixture of sandy and clay soils, and grapes grown here display the influence of the refreshing sea breezes that blow across the island.

This cognac was matured in a small humid cellar, very close to the ocean, developing plentiful maritime flavours.

Drinkers should expect notes of sea spray, slight mineral, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, raisins, fresh apples and pears, old oak, sweet grapes, sandalwood, pine trees, toffee and subtle milk chocolate.

Velvety and rich, this is a characterful and luscious Cognac.
