Grosperrin N°61 Fins Bois Cognac (Lot N°728)
A marvellous Cognac from the Fins Bois cru, bottled by Grosperrin.
This lot, described as ‘very old’ by Grosperrin, was produced in the town of Reparsac by a winegrower whose main job was running a plant nursery. The Cognac was conserved by the grower to commemorate his very first harvest. The spirit is thought to date back to the early 1960s.
The spirit itself offers notes of budding blackcurrant, dried flowers, earthy rancio, damp oak, dried fruits, figs, vanilla, a little woodsmoke, toffee, creamy chocolate and peppery spice.
A rare quality of Fins Bois Cognac – from a truly unique harvest.
