Another good quality dram from G&M’s MacPhail’s collection, which always offers up consistency.

This time round it is a well aged whisky from Campeltown distillery Glen Scotia.

Distilled in 1992, the whisky was bottled in 2015 having been aged for about 23 years.

This dram offers up flavours of sweet grain, bananas, bright honey, toasted nuts, cinnamon, chocolate, apples, pears and salted caramel.

Bottled at 43% ABV for a touch more body and warmth.
