Over the years Glen Moray have developed an excellent reputation for producing top quality single malt at great value.
This bottling is a perfect example. Elgin Classic, named after the town in which the distillery is based, is the entry level bottling from Glen Moray, and offers a classic Speyside profile.
The whisky offers up notes of gristy malt, almonds, toffee, vanilla, oak, lemon and orange rind, pressed flowers and cut grass, slight dried fruits, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and walnuts.
The perfect daily drinker, and an example of what the Speyside region can offer, this bottling is one of the last true bargains of the Scotch whisky world.
