A glorious blended malt from the fantastic Elements of Islay independent bottling range, produced by Elixir Distillers. This bottling was specially made for Velier, the famous Italian spirits bottlers.

Torba translates from Scots Gaelic as “Pebble”, a perfect name for this distinctly maritime whisky. Made with whisky from three different distilleries, including “some of the most heavily peated whisky in the world” (guesses on a postcard, please).

The result is a whisky that represents the very heart of Islay malt: a densely smoky, heavily peated dram, packed with notes of kippers, medicinal smoke, toffee, sea spray, with touches of tropical fruit, dried fruits, grapes, and vanilla.

Bottled at a “full proof” of 56.1% ABV, without chill filtration or colouration, this is a tour-de-force of an Islay whisky. Just 12,000 bottles of this whisky were produced world-wide.
