A terrific well aged Anejo Tequila from Don Julio. This Tequila is made entirely of blue weber agave, grown in the Jalisco highlands, which has been allowed to reach full maturity at the age of between 7 and 10 years old. After distillation, the spirit is aged in American White Oak casks for at years 18 months, creating fabulous balance between the vanilla rich, oaky flavours of the wood, and the zinging, earthy, spicy notes of the agave. This is an excellent example of a high quality sipping Tequila, on a par with the finest whiskies and rums. A really love spirit, and a great addition to any collection.
