A Mexican rum packaged in one of the most unique and weird bottles we’ve ever seen. The bottle takes its inspiration from Tsantsa, shrunken heads taken by some South American tribes after the defeat of an enemy. The name of this rum then, is self-explanatory! A morbid theme, perhaps, but the rum itself is truly terrific ¬– a blend of spirits made from molasses and sugar cane juice, with an excellent balance between light and dark. The spirit was distilled twice, and matured in European oak barrels for complexity, depth and flavour. The rum is particularly excellent in Tiki drinks, and considering its ghoulish nature, a zombie seems an apt choice! Would make an excellent gift for those with a dark sense of humour, or at Halloween! Furthermore, the bottle is definitely not going to be missed on even the busiest of backbars.
