Aged for just a single year, this rye spirit cannot yet be labeled as “whisky” as it is not aged the minimum of 3 years that is required by EU law. It is distilled from a mash of 2/3rds rye and 1/3rd malted barley, and aged in used bourbon barrels with added Apple and Cherrywood chips.
