After the release of the Great King Street Artist’s Blend in 2011, Compass Box had been looking to add a new whisky to the range, and to do so, they released two blends. It was up to the public to decide which one would win. This is one of two experimental Scotch blended whiskies by whisky innovators Compass Box. The style of this blend is lightly sherried, compared to the other peated blend which rivaled it for the spot as the second bottle in the Great King Street series.
Spoiler… This whisky lost to the peated blend, batch TR-06, now known as the Great King Street—Glasgow Blend.
