Clynelish produce some of our favourite spirit: no one else quite captures that North Highlands waxy minerality like they do. This is a fantastic bottling that really shows the distillery at its full potential.

Bottled by the Ultimate Whisky Company this is a single barrel whisky that has been aged in a Bourbon for 8 years, having been distilled on the 1st of March 2008 and bottled on the 20th of February 2017 (just under a fortnight short of being 9 years old).

The whisky is fresh and youthful, with a lovely malty core and touches of vanilla, caramel sweetness and slight salinity. Clynelish 8 year old is bottled at 46% ABV, without any artificial colouration or chill filtration. Only 294 bottles of this whisky were produced, meaning that stock is highly limited. A young cracker of a dram from The Ultimate.
