Another delicious well aged Clynelish from the fine folk at Signatory Vintage. This bottling is part of the highly regarded Cask Strength series.

Distilled in 1995, and bottled in March 2019, this spirit was aged for 23 years in a single refill sherry butt. This cask provides flavours of sherried fruit, without overwhelming Clynelish’s naturally waxy and delicate style.

This bottling delivers flavours of ripe plums, toffee, vibrant sherry, dried fruits, cinnamon, apricot, black pepper, a little coffee, beeswax, dark chocolate, light vanilla, thyme, faint tobacco, sea salt, figs, malt and old oak.

Bottled at a cask strength of 57.2% ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, this is a filling and satisfying whisky.

Just 574 bottles were produced.
