A very mature offering from one of our favourite distilleries, Clynelish, bottled by Signatory Vintage for their Cask Strength range.

This dram was distilled on the 21st of November 1995, and bottled on the 15th of May 2019, after 23 years aging in a single refill sherry butt.

The result is a well balanced whisky that offers notes of stewed orchard fruits, waxy citrus peel, buttery toast, charred oak, subtle dried fruits, salted caramel, creamy vanilla, a little dark chocolate, baking spices and freshly chopped herbs.

The spirit was bottled at 57.7% ABV and without chill filtration, highlighting the waxy nature of Clynelish’s spirit.

Just 607 bottles were produced.
