Made with Ugni Blanc grapes, and designed to have little oak influence. The distillery is based in the Panjas commune, in the Bas-Armagnac region. They have been distilling since 1774.
Being a VS bottling, it has been aged in Limousin oak for a minimum of two years. The result is a fruit forward spirit with flavours of grape, slight dried fruit, subtle spice, vanilla, sweet oak, cream, honey and flowers.
This Armagnac is presented in a charming, retro decanter style bottling. The name translates as “Keys of Dukes”, and eagle-eyed drinkers will note that a pair of crossed keys feature on the bottle.
