Carlshamns offers notes of white sugar, liquorice, fennel, and slight lemon rind.

This sweet, herbal punsch is often used to flavour glogg, a kind of mulled wine drink. It can also be drunk after as an aperitif, or mixed into cocktails such as the Modernista or Boomerang (it has even featured in the famous Corpse Reviver No.2).
