Bruichladdich 26 Year Old 1990 (Cask #161) - Signatory Cask Strength
70 cl, 53.4%

A truly stunning bottling from one of our all time favourite distilleries here at Fine Drams, Bruichladdich pride themselves on being “Progressive Hebridean Distillers”. This Bruichladdich joins Signatory Vintage’s excellent range of single cask, Cask Strength whiskies, and is a dram befitting this fantastic series.

First distilled on the 26th of September 1990, and bottled on the 19th of October 2016, having aged for 26 years in a refill sherry butt (cask number 161). This long, slow, maturation has developed incredible flavours of rich, dried fruit, fragrant pressed flowers and pot pourri, toffee, old dusty oak and sweet wine. The creamy finish is Bruichladdich at its very best, and showcases excellent balance between the spirit and the oak.

Bottled at a natural cask strength of 53.4% ABV, this is a full-bodied and luscious whisky. As always with the Cask Strength collection, this whisky has been presented without any colouration or chill filtration. Just 438 bottles of this whisky were produced, drawn from the single cask. This means stocks are highly limited, and drinkers should purchase quickly to avoid disappointment. Each bottle comes with its own iconic Signatory Vintage tin.

A bottling of rare age from one of Scotland’s cult distilleries!
