A gin that really packs a punch! The Boxer is a unique gin produced by spirits maestro Mark Douglas Hill. Ten botanicals, including lemon and orange rind, are macerated in pure wheat spirit, which has been distilled in a 108 year old Copper Pot Still. The use of wheat spirit gives the gin a depth of flavour and chewy mouthfeel. Following this maceration, juniper from the Himalayas is steam distilled and bergamot is cold pressed to obtain their intense flavours and essential oils. The spirit and oils are then combined, producing a wonderfully fully flavoured London Dry gin. This gin is exceedingly dry, perfect for a Martini or pairing with tonic water. This gin was awarded an Excellent mark in the Difford’s Guide of 2014, whilst the Spirits Business and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition both awarded it a silver medal in the same year.
