First launched in 2003 in Asia, this lychee liqueur was a huge hit in Japan, where over a million litres of lychee liqueur are sold each year.
Bols are one of the oldest distilleries in the world, yet they still manage to innovate, creating a unique means of extracting the flavour from the lychee fruit. The liqueur is flavoured with other essences and citric acid, adding complexity.
The bottling is packed with flavours of rose, lychee, tropical fruit, stone fruits – particularly peach, and some grape and melon notes.
