An utterly tremendous single malt whisky that heralds the full return of Bladnoch to the scotch whisky industry. Initially only released for the Australian market (Bladnoch’s owner, David Prior, is an Australian), we have managed to snag a few bottles for our shelves. This delectable 25 year old whisky takes its name from the Hebrew word meaning “dew of god”. The whisky certainly lives up to its name, developing an almost divine depth of flavour over its long maturation and finishing process in American new oak casks. Drinkers should expect elegant notes of dusty old oak, ginger, vanilla, leather and orange rind ¬– with a slight edge of Lowland floral notes. This whisky is bottled at a natural cask strength of 49.2% ABV, and is free from any chill filtration or artificial colouration, allowing the drinker to experience the full flavour of this dram, as close as possible to how it is in the cask. The Talia expression was highly limited to only 600 bottles world wide, meaning that drinkers should move fast if they want to try this rare whisky. Bladnoch Talia picked up a coveted Double Gold award at the San Francisco World Spirit Awards of 2017.
