Part of a two part “Thesis and Antithesis” series, Biercee Gin is an excellent, copper pot still distilled Belgian gin. When one thinks of Belgium, gin does not spring to mind, with the nation’s premium produce being chocolate. Biercee have recognized this, by using the innovative and unusual botanical of cocoa in their spirit, alongside a range of fresh fruit and herbs to create intense, delicious flavours. This is a dry, yet approachable gin, with notes of malt and fennel, bittersweet juniper, a slightly peppery spicy quality, a little dark chocolate, a floral note, and a touch of toasted cumin. The mouthfeel is soft and buttery, adding a little depth to gin cocktails. Bottled at 44% ABV, this means the flavours of this gin really hold their own in even the most complex cocktails. Perfect for a G&T with a difference!
