By Jove! What have we here? A limited edition bottling from Belgian Owl distillery, created in partnership with and homage to “The Yellow M” of the famous Belgian Blake and Mortimer comic series.

Belgian Owl have said of this bottle range: “Belgium loves rubbing shoulders with surrealism. Without a doubt, no-one could have imaged a meeting between graphic art and a Belgian whisky.”

It does seem a strange mix, and yet, the spirit is delicious! Distilled in former Caperdonich Pot stills that are over 100 years old, before being aged in first fill former Bourbon casks for 48 months (4 years).

The result is a spritely and youthful whisky, with plenty of fresh vanilla and warm malt flavours, accompanied by a powerful dusty oak note, and rich toffee’d fruits.

Bottled at 46% ABV and without either chill filtration or artificial colouration, this is a wonderfully natural whisky.
