This is a single malt whisky from the Auchentoshan distillery, who, as per traditional Lowland style, insists on triple-distilling every drop coming out of the distillery. This process gives a light and fruitier spirit, which is still showcased, even in this extremely dark, Pedro Ximénez finished expression. This is bottled at 48% and is non-chill-filtered.
