The Auchentoshan Heartwood is a travel retail exclusive, luckily we’ve been able to get our hands on a few. This Lowland single malt whisky combines the best of two cask types: Oloroso sherry, and American oak ex-bourbon casks. The former imparts a rich nuttiness, dried fruits, and spices, while the latter imparts a rich, vanilla sweetness.
