A very interesting release from the lowland distillery, matured in both bourbon barrels and red wine barrels – hence “Blood Oak”. Expect plenty of bursting citrus and red fruit character. The distillery suggests tannic notes, with ginger and nutmeg on the palate. Sounds like drinkers can hope for a tasty spicy affair from this well aged dram.
