A delicious wine cask whisky from the Isle of Arran.

This 2009 vintage has been aged in casks from the famous St-Émilion wine region, which is said to produce the world’s finest Merlots.

The effect on the whisky is striking, imparting delightful flavours of red grape, wine tannins, warming Christmas spice, cherries, vanilla, raspberry, toffee, strawberries, red liquorice, dark oak, a little cream and some earthy malt.

A cracking dram, bottled at a cask strength of 54.9% ABV, without chill filtration or colouration.

This bottling was originally created for the Dutch market, and is limited to just 1,920 bottles worldwide.
