A 1996 vintage bottling of Ardmore from veteran blenders and bottlings, Gordon & MacPhail.

This bottling forms part of G&M’s classic Distillery Labels series, with Ardmore adorned with a striking star-like label.

Ardmore is known for its distinctive Highland smoke, and was originally established to provide the Teacher’s blends with peated spirit. This 17 year old bottling is a lovely example of the style, dram from refill sherry casks.

This dram is rich with flavours of citrus rind, toffee, peated honey, oily nuts, meaty sherry, tobacco smoke, red berries, vanilla, burnt oak and dried fruit.

Bottled at a warming 43% ABV, this is one of the finest examples of Ardmore’s delicious spirit.
