An Old School classic from Gordon and MacPhail, featuring their distinctive distillery label for Ardmore.

Ardmore was originally established by William Teacher to provide peated spirit to his famous blends. A robust, smoky highlander, this 1995 vintage is the product of a small batch of refill sherry casks.

This dram opens with waves of cigar smoke and cedarwood, followed by a little burnt malt, dark chocolate, espresso, meaty sherry, oily nuts, dried fruits, vanilla and cloves.

Aged for 17 years and bottled at a somewhat warming 43% ABV this is a delightful offering from G & M.
