A good quality rum from the famous Appleton Estate distillery.

A blend of 20 different rums, including some older stock, this is a consistently delicious Jamaican rum. The blend has an average age of 6 years, and is overseen by Joy Spence, the first female master rum blender in the world, the distillery like to say that each rum is “crafted with Joy”.

This is a nutty, funky rum which serves up plenty of spicy oak and sweet brown sugar flavours, alongside some tropical fruit and citrus notes, and a little Jamaican funk.

Whilst this bottling has lost its 8 year old age statement, it remains a high quality, brilliant value rum, which is excellent for adding the classic Jamaican style to cocktails.
