Produced at the Emile Pernot distillery, in Pontarlier, found in France, close to the Swiss border.

A classic green Absinthe packed floral wormwood, citrusy black pepper, bright, grassy herbs, sweet anise and a touch of cucumber. This is a lighter bodied Absinthe.

Absinthe Bourgeois is perhaps best known for its wildly successful poster campaign, which featured a black cat drinking their product (now on the label of the bottle itself). This poster remains popular to this day.
