An intriguing dry vermouth produced by Distilleries et Domaines de Provence.
Produced using a base of Provencal white wines (Vermentino, Clairette, Ugni Blanc and Grenache Blanc), this vermouth uses classical absenthe flavourings.
The boanicals used include mint, anise, lemon balm, gentian, wormwood, coriander, sugar and oranges.
The result is a bright, grassy vermouth, with a peppery citrus flavour, notes of sage and other herbs, and a dry grape undertone.
Really delicious served simply with soda water, or ice-cold water, this bottling would also offer plentiful opportunities to the inventive bartender.
