A classic Akvavit bottling from Danish producers Aalborg.

Flavoured with the Caraway herb, this is a verdant and fennelly liqueur, with notes of lemon rind, earthy spice, black pepper, pine and chopped herbs.

Danish poet Jørgen Vibe once said of this bottling “Aalborg Taffel lights of the fires of delight. And keeps our spirits burning bright.”

Taffel translates table, perhaps reflective of this drink’s role as an aperitif, often drunk at Christmas.
