A wonderfully presented bottling of Jamaican rum from Island Signature, bottled under the name “Yellow Snake”.

The company state that it is the propriety yeasts of each distillery that give Jamaican rums their distinctive, funky fruit flavours.

This rum is a blend of spirits from around Jamaica, that has been lightly aged in oak barrels, achieving the bottling’s amber hue.

The bottling serves up notes of bright sugar cane, vanilla, mixed spice, pineapple, mango, coconut, slight funky banana, pepper, flowers, and lime rind. A somewhat dry mouthfeel.

An excellent expression of Jamaica’s “Grand Cru” as Island Signature say.
