In keeping with their tradition of using African ingredients in their gin (their standard bottling includes Baobab and Cape gooseberries as crucial botanicals), this gin is made with African Cucumbers and Karoo aloe, lending a freshness and succulence. These more uncommon ingredients feature alongside traditional gin botanicals of juniper, coriander, cassia, orris root, angelica, liquorice, sweet orange and lemon.

The final result is a complex, fragrant gin with notes of succulent aloe, cut grass, clean pine, juniper, vegetal herbs, subtly sweet citrus and earthy spice.

A really interesting offering, try this with a good quality tonic and a slice of cucumber to garnish.
